Job Description


As Assistant Brand Manager, you'll take ownership of two key brands and become a vital part of the marketing team. Your role will be varied, fast paced, and highly visible, offering exposure across the full marketing mix.You'll be:

  • Analysing market, consumer, and competitor data to uncover growth opportunities
  • Monitoring category trends and sharing insights with the wider business
  • Supporting the delivery of brand growth, market share, and profitability targets
  • Identifying opportunities for innovation and assessing new product launches
  • Planning and executing marketing campaigns, shopper marketing activities, and promotional initiatives
  • Working with agencies across PR, social media, and media planning
  • Developing compelling presentations and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing marketing budgets and measuring campaign effectiveness
  • Collaborating with sales, category, finance, supply chain, technical, and international teams to bring plans to life

  • Track record within FMCG marketing, brand marketing, or category marketing
  • A strong understanding of the UK retail landscape
  • Excellent analytical skills and confidence working with market data
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities
  • A proactive, positive, can do attitude
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Experience working with cross functional stakeholders
  • A genuine passion for brands, consumers, and food
