<p>We are in need of a skilled <strong>Project Engineer</strong> with expertise in the realm of <strong>heavy civil construction</strong>, with a focus on <strong>underground utilities and earthwork</strong>. This role will oversee projects in the <strong>Kingman–Flagstaff area</strong>, ensuring seamless coordination among field workers, office staff, and project managers.</p>

<h3><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h3>
<ul>

<p>Aid the <strong>Project Manager</strong> and field leadership in completing projects <strong>safely, on schedule, and within budget</strong>.</p>

<li>
<p>Coordinate day-to-day activities with <strong>superintendents and foremen</strong>, involving materials, subcontractors, equipment, and quality assessment.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Ensure full compliance with <strong>company safety regulations</strong> and <strong>OSHA guidelines</strong>.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Handle <strong>scope modifications</strong>, help with <strong>timetabling</strong>, and manage <strong>change requests</strong>.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Assist in <strong>project preparation</strong>, encompassing definition, extent, resources, and foundational scheduling.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Develop and manage important plans like <strong>traffic control, erosion control, safety measures</strong>, and <strong>equipment deployment</strong>.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Effectively communicate with <strong>customers, suppliers, and subcontractors</strong> to ensure timely, top-notch execution.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Employ <strong>Viewpoint</strong> for project records, cost monitoring, and reporting.</p>
</li>

<h3><strong>Requirements</strong></h3>
<ul>

<p>Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, or similar practical experience.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Minimum of <strong>3+ years in heavy civil construction</strong> (earthwork, underground utilities, highways, or structures).</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Preference for <strong>Viewpoint</strong> proficiency; familiarity with <strong>Alternative Delivery methodologies</strong> (Design-Build, CM/GC) is a plus.</p>

<li>
<p>Robust <strong>organizational, problem-solving, and communication</strong> abilities.</p>
</li>

<p>Self-motivated with the capacity to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.</p>
