Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Iowa licensed Registered Nurses for a travel assignment at a critical access hospital in Perry, Iowa. This role provides an excellent chance to work in a rural hospital environment, delivering bedside care across both emergency and medical-surgical units in a well-equipped facility.

- Every 3rd weekend required

- Local travelers within 50 miles will not be considered

Clinical Scope
- Emergency department evaluation, stabilization, and treatment
- Medical-surgical patient care
- Collaborate with House Supervisor and ED provider/mid-level
- Manage treatment rooms and minor procedures
- Utilize advanced lab and imaging services
- Full documentation within hospital EMR
Practice Environment
This assignment is based within a rural 25-bed Critical Access Hospital serving Dallas County and surrounding regions. Providers will work in a facility equipped with modern imaging, 24/7 lab services, and supportive care staff. The hospital maintains a strong focus on high-quality rural healthcare.
Requirements
- Active Iowa RN license or Compact license
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- Minimum of 2 years current Emergency Department experience
- Minimum of 2 years current Medical-Surgical experience
- Proficiency in both specialties required
- Own vehicle required
- Permanent address essential on profile
- All RTO must be disclosed at submission (maximum 5 days)
- No schedule accommodations after submission
Preferred Qualifications
- TNCC or PALS certification
- Previous travel experience
- BSN degree
