About the Role
We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our friendly accounts team on a 14-month fixed-term contract, with the potential to become a permanent member within another role on completion. This opportunity would suit a graduate looking to start a career in finance or someone with experience in an accounts or finance role.
Office Based | Monday-Friday, 9am-5:30pm
The role requires someone who is immediately available to start, highly organised and comfortable working with numbers and Excel.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing the debtors ledger for UK & Ireland entities
* Raising and issuing sales invoices
* Credit control and maintaining good customer relationships
* Posting and allocating daily bank receipts
* Managing the AR inbox and resolving invoice queries
* Supporting weekly debtor reviews and reporting
* Assisting with revenue tracking and variance analysis
* Opening new customer accounts and completing credit checks
* Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks
Key Requirements
* Immediately available to start
* Good Excel skills and strong attention to detail
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
* Previous experience in accounts or credit control is beneficial but not essential
* Finance graduates encouraged to apply
