Field Engineer | Pumps & Diesel Equipment | Leeds
£35,000-£38,515 per annumLeeds
Overview
Responsibilities:
- Service, maintain and repair pump and diesel equipment on customer sites and in the workshop
- Carry out fault-finding, diagnostics and preventative maintenance
- Inspect equipment returning from hire and document damage or recurring faults
- Work to manufacturer specifications and H&S requirements (including PPE)
- Complete job reports and communicate effectively with internal teams
- Participate in a call-out rota (with standby allowance and overtime)
Experience & skills required:
- NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent hands-on experience)
- Background working with diesel engines, pumps, plant or mechanical equipment
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Experience working on customer or construction sites
- Full UK driving licence (max 6 points)
- Flexible, reliable, and comfortable working outdoors in all weather
