Our client is a market leading ALSP. They are currently looking to engage with a junior corporate Lawyer for an assignment of at least 6 months in duration with a Fintech client. The role will start ASAP and can be undertaken on a remote basis within the UK. The end client will consider individuals looking to work 4 or 5 days per week.
The successful individual can expect to be:
- Managing and assisting with legal response to corporate and wider matters encountered by the company and internal stakeholders
- Leading external communication on legal matters including negotiation with external parties
- Assisting in transactional activities including M&A, majority and minority investments and joint ventures as well as restructurings globally
- Leading, advising and supporting on a wide variety of transactional, reorganisation and governance initiatives
- Identifying legal framework developments and aligning and promoting consistency of approach across internal stakeholders
Successful candidates should have a strong corporate law background, along with corporate reorganisation and restructuring experience.
The successful Lawyer will likely be able to demonstrate:
- Qualification as S solicitor in England & Wales, or another commonwealth jurisdiction (such as New Zealand and/or Australia, for example)
- Possess upwards of 2 years’ PQE in handling a full range of corporate legal matters
- Experience across a full range of corporate M&A, restructuring and reorganisation matters
- Experience gained within another in-house environment would be highly desirable
- The ability to start a new role immediately or at short notice
- The capacity to commit to a 6 month assignment
- Be based in England, Scotland or Wales
The role will pay a daily rate inside IR35.
