Job Description:

Exact Staff is currently hiring in Kern County, CA for a Bilingual Property Manager!

Join a dedicated team managing low-income housing properties in a full-time, temp-to-hire role where you'll oversee daily residential operations and make a meaningful impact in your community.

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Pay Rate: $23.00/HR (DOE)
  • Location: Shafter, CA

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day property operations including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations
  • Communicate effectively with tenants to address inquiries, concerns, and service requests
  • Coordinate property maintenance and repairs with onsite and/or offsite maintenance staff
  • Conduct property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards
  • Process rent collections, enforce lease agreements, and manage delinquencies
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation of property activities
  • Market available units, conduct property tours, and manage leasing agreements
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal housing regulations
  • Handle tenant disputes and provide conflict resolution in a professional manner
  • Prepare budgets, monitor expenses, and optimize property performance

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in property management or a related field
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish required
  • Strong knowledge of property management software and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
