We are currently recruiting for an Apprentice Building Services Engineer to join our small, motivated maintenance team.
The Building and Services team at Glyndebourne maintains the theatre, restaurants and public areas, production departments and offices. We are looking for an Apprentice Building Services Engineer to join our small, motivated maintenance team taking the electrical pathway as you work towards the Engineering Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship Standard.
Essential Qualifications
GCSE in: English, Maths (grade 4/5 C or above)
Desirable Qualifications
GCSE in: Science (grade 4/5 C or above)
Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.
Good practical skills (dexterity) as you will be working on complex systems. Able to manage own workload and prioritize. Ability to switch between projects when required and meet deadlines.
As with all apprenticeships, this requires a long-term commitment – there will be assignments and logbook entries to complete. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a top company, whilst you work towards nationally recognised qualifications.
The contractual hours of work are 35 per week, Monday – Friday, 9:00 to 17:00. The duration of the apprenticeship is 3 years 10 months.
We can offer a salary of £23,132 per annum.
