As a Senior Data Modeler, you will:
- Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with business requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather, analyze, and translate data requirements.
- Create and maintain data models using PowerDesigner, ERwin, and Sparx Enterprise Architect (EA).
- Ensure alignment of data models with enterprise data architecture and business processes.
- Define and enforce data modeling standards, naming conventions, and best practices.
- Perform data analysis and impact assessments for system and schema changes.
- Work closely with data engineers and developers to implement and optimize data structures.
- Support data governance, data quality, and metadata management initiatives.
- Maintain data dictionaries, lineage documentation, and model repositories.
- Optimize models for performance, scalability, and maintainability across systems.
What You Bring to the Table:
- 7–8 years of experience in data modeling and data design.
- Strong hands-on experience with PowerDesigner, ERwin, and Sparx Enterprise Architect (EA).
- Expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling techniques.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases and data structures.
- Experience working with complex and large-scale data environments.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and data integration.
- Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and metadata frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
You Should Possess the Ability to:
- Translate business needs into scalable and efficient data models.
- Ensure consistency and standardization across enterprise data assets.
- Analyze and resolve data-related issues and dependencies.
- Communicate complex data concepts in a clear and structured manner.
- Work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
