Level 3 Early Years Practitioner (term time only)

Overview of the Role:

We are seeking a caring and committed Early Years Practitioner to join one of our school-based nursery's. Working closely with the Early Years Teacher, you'll support children's school readiness and personal development through structured, inclusive play.

About the Nursery:

Our nursery is part of a vibrant and inclusive primary school. We provide a high-quality, structured EYFS curriculum for children aged 3-4 years and pride ourselves on preparing them for a confident transition to Reception.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support learning through focused and free play activities

• Deliver the EYFS curriculum under the direction of the nursery teacher

• Act as a key worker for a group of children

• Support children's communication, social, and emotional development

• Maintain accurate records and contribute to planning and assessment

Prerequisites / Requirements:

• Level 3 Early Years qualification (required)

• Experience in a school or structured nursery setting preferred

• Good understanding of school readiness and EYFS

• Positive, professional attitude with good time management

• Enhanced DBS clearance

All candidates who register with Simply Education are required to provide references for the previous 2 years of work, as well as complete an enhanced DBS check. Any interviews we hold will be conducted over a Teams call.
