About the Role

<p><b>Fundraising and Marketing Administrator</b></p> <p>Location: Hybrid working &#8211; 1 office day based in Redditch, Worcestershire and remainder working from home with openness to flexible working</p> <p>Hours: Part-Time, Permanent; 16 hours per week to be agreed with Line Manager</p> <p>Salary: &pound;28,000 &#8211; &pound;32,000 (dependent on experience) (pro rata)</p> <p>Holiday: 30 days annual leave (pro rata) which includes 3 fixed days between Christmas and New Year, in addition to bank holidays</p> <p>Pension: Up to 8% employer contribution</p> <p>Line Management Responsibilities: None</p> <p><b>About Our Client</b></p> <p>Our client is the charity supporting the nursing and midwifery family through tough times. They provide grants, advice and a listening ear to nurses and midwives who may feel alone and are struggling to cope. They are a small and friendly team committed to ensuring no nurse or midwife faces tough times alone.</p> <p><b>The Role</b></p> <p>To provide efficient and holistic support across our client. This role will support various teams across the organisation, with a focus on giving colleagues the support they need to fulfil their roles as well as directly engaging with beneficiaries, nominators, coaching clients and award winners.</p> <p>The role will provide coordination of our client&rsquo;s Star Awards and provide support for fundraising and marketing activities.</p> <p><b>Person Profile</b></p> <p>This role would suit someone who is organised and is adept at following processes and procedures. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, have effective communication skills and a desire to support colleagues to fulfil their roles to the best of their ability. It will suit someone who is looking for variety in their work and brings a logical, methodical approach to prioritising their workload.</p> <p><b>Main Responsibilities</b></p> <p>Our Client&rsquo;s Star Awards Administration:</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate the processing of their Star Award nominations, from submission to fulfilment.</li> <li>Post awards packs for their Star Awards and ensuring they arrive in a timely manner.</li> <li>Communicate with nominators, recipients, and partners to ensure an exceptional experience.</li> <li>Maintain accurate nomination records and provide regular reports on activity and outcomes.</li> <li>Liaise with suppliers and external partners regarding award materials and distribution.</li> <li>Ensure all nomination data is recorded accurately and kept up to date in internal systems.</li> </ul> <p>Fundraising and Marketing Support:</p> <ul> <li>Support fundraising and marketing campaigns with logistical tasks.</li> <li>Maintain supporter and donor data within the CRM, ensuring accurate records.</li> <li>Assist with the production and distribution of fundraising materials and communications to supporters.</li> <li>Support event logistics, booking arrangements, and post-event follow-ups.</li> <li>Respond to fundraising and marketing enquiries by email and phone.</li> <li>Support donor stewardship activities, including thank you communications and recognition initiatives.</li> <li>Assist with the coordination of fundraising materials for partners, ensuring timely delivery and brand consistency.</li> <li>Coordinate meetings with partners and supporters, including scheduling and sending invitations.</li> </ul> <p>General Administrative and Cross-Team Support:</p> <ul> <li>Provide day-to-day administrative support to colleagues across the organisation.</li> <li>Assist with data entry, data cleansing, and routine database maintenance.</li> <li>Support the management of shared inboxes, ensuring queries are responded to or directed appropriately.</li> <li>Follow established processes and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy in all tasks.</li> </ul> <p><b>Person Specification</b></p> <p>Skills, Knowledge and Experience</p> <p>Essential:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to adapt approach and communication style to suit the audience.</li> <li>Experience of supporting colleagues to achieve shared goals.</li> <li>Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.</li> <li>Strong organisational and time management skills with ability to prioritise effectively.</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).</li> <li>Experience working with CRM systems or databases.</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to handle confidential information sensitively and appropriately.</li> </ul> <p>Desirable:</p> <ul> <li>Experience working within a charity or healthcare-related organisation.</li> <li>Knowledge of fundraising, marketing or event administration.</li> </ul> <p>Personal Attributes:</p> <ul> <li>Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.</li> <li>Friendly, professional and confident communicator.</li> <li>Flexible and adaptable &#8211; able to work both independently and collaboratively.</li> <li>Proactive approach with willingness to take initiative.</li> <li>Empathy and alignment with our client&rsquo;s mission and values.</li> <li>Commitment to diversity, equality and inclusion.</li> </ul> <p>Your Cover Letter should include:</p> <ul> <li>Your notice period</li> <li>Your preferred working hours</li> <li>Why you&rsquo;re interested in working for our client</li> <li>Your relevant administrative / fundraising and marketing experience</li> </ul> <p>For this role, interviews will be held remotely on a rolling basis as and when applications come through.
