Reyes Fleet Management is hiring immediately for the role of a 1st shift Trailer Technician B for our site in Portage, IN. This role will primarily be responsible for handling repairs on new and refurbished trailers. Shift: Full-Time l Days- Shifts available for 4:10s OR Monday-Friday Pay: $24.00-$27.00/HR based on experience/qualifications Why work for Reyes Fleet Management? 4 Weeks paid time off-Start Accumulating time off on DAY 1!  Holiday pay Yearly performance raises Career advancement opportunities  401K & Company paid life insurance Referral bonuses and Reyes Reward program Health, dental, and vision coverage including multiple medical plans Tool & Boot annual payout Great work culture and clean facilities Financial and wellness discounts and much more Position Responsibilities:  The Trailer Upfitting Technician is responsible for the refurbishment and remanufacturing of company fleet assets within the Company  As a Trailer Upfitting Technician, you will assist with diagnosing and detailed inspections of complex mechanical and electric problems utilizing diagnostic technology/software  You will complete thorough documentation of work orders for repairs through the online AssetWorks system  You will install trailer refrigeration, heating units, and external graphics as well as perform basic welding, metal cutting, and installation of hydraulic liftgate components  Other duties as assigned  Required Skills and Experience:  High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 2 plus years of related experience    Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement)  Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehicles Preferred Education and Experience:  Technical School Certification Benefits At the Reyes Family of Businesses, our Total Rewards Strategy prioritizes the holistic well-being of our employees.
