<p><strong>3rd Line Engineer </strong></p>

Our client is well-established Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in Watfrod; they’re currently looking for a 3rd Line Service Desk Engineer to join their expanding team.</p>
<p>The successful 3rd Line Engineer will be the escalation point of a friendly team. Providing a high-level service to the companies’ clients to ensure the performance and reliability of their IT systems run seamlessly.</p>
<p>You will have the opportunity to be involved in projects, if you don’t have experience in this area, there is scope for training and development.</p>
<p><strong>The job role will involve:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Answering 3rd line support queries via phone, email or on-site.
<li>Monitoring and maintaining server performance.
<li>Troubleshooting hardware and software problems.
<li>Installing and configuring new systems.
<li>Providing technical support to customers.
<li>Assisting on projects.
<li>Migration projects
<li>Mentoring the team.
</ul>
<p><strong>The ideal candidate will have:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience in 3rd line support.
<li>Extensive experience in network and server support.
<li>Good understanding of networking concepts.
<li>Working with storage and backup.
<li>VMWare / Hyper – V.
<li>Cyber Security.
<li>Good knowledge O365 /Azure / Exchange /Intune / Onedrive / Sharepoint.
<li>Excellent problem-solving skills.
<li>Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

It is desirable that the candidate has experience working within the MSP sector and working knowledge of the following:</p>

<li>Worked for an MSP.
<li>Involved in projects.
</ul>
