About the Role

D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Enpoint Administrator II. The right candidate will independently administers and supports enterprise endpoint devices throughout their lifecycle. This role is responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining endpoint configurations, application deployments, and patching strategies within established architectural standards. The Endpoint Administrator II serves as an escalation resource for complex endpoint issues and contributes to automation, process improvement, and platform enhancements. The Endpoint Administrator works closely with Security, Infrastructure, Help Desk, and end-users to deliver a stable and secure endpoint environment aligned with change management and operational best practices.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Administer, maintain, and optimize endpoint management infrastructure. Design and support OS imaging, provisioning, and lifecycle workflows for endpoint devices. Create, manage, and maintain application packaging and deployment solutions for enterprise software. Manage endpoint patching schedules and compliance baselines to ensure security and operational stability. Monitor endpoint health, performance and deployment success; proactively identify and remediate issues. Troubleshoot complex client, application deployment, imaging, and patching failures on endpoint devices. Implement approved system changes and platform upgrades in line with defined Change Management processes. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and technical documentation. Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement using scripting frameworks like PowerShell. Serve as an escalation point for Help Desk and junior administrators. Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to support endpoint initiatives Support enterprise endpoint initiatives, refresh cycles, and special projects Participate in after‑hours maintenance windows as required for platform upgrades or critical changes. Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company Ability to work overtime In office- Monday through Friday    Qualifications   Education and/or Experience   High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Three to five years progressive experience in enterprise IT support, endpoint administration, or systems administration Hands‑on experience with endpoint management platform(s) (Microsoft SCCM/MECM preferred) and Windows desktop operating systems (current versions), Working knowledge of Active Directory, Print Services, Microsoft Office (current version) and PowerShell scripting Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications Possess strong troubleshooting, communication and technical documentation skills Ability to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.  Frequently required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and is occasionally required to stand and climb or balance. Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock. The noise level is generally moderate Ability to meet physical, travel, and scheduling requirements, including after-hours support.
