KS2 Teacher Mildenhall

About the role:

We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Primary Teacher to join a busy and welcoming primary school in Mildenhall on a part-time basis from September 2026 on a long term supply basis.

The school provides a supportive setting with a focus on collaboration and maintaining high standards across all areas of learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation, and marking
• Delivering engaging and differentiated lessons to meet a range of abilities
• Supporting pupil progress and maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure continuity of learning

Pre-requisites:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Key Stage 2
• Confidence in teaching mixed-age classes and adapting lessons to suit varied abilities
• Two education or school based references
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to thrive in a busy environment
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
