<strong>Stores Operative (Temporary – Site Based)</strong><br><strong>Reporting to:</strong> Stores Manager <br><strong>Location:</strong> Site Based<br><strong>Pay Rate:</strong> £12.71 per hour<br><br><br> <br> <strong>About the Role</strong> <br> We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Stores Operative<strong> </strong>to join our Client on a temporary to Permanant. This is a front-facing role where you will be responsible for maintaining high standards within the stores environment and ensuring product availability for the client.<br><br> <br> You will play a key role in supporting daily operations by managing stock efficiently, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring all processes are completed accurately and on time.<br><br> <br> <strong>Available Shifts (3 positions available)</strong> <br><br><ul><li><strong>Morning Shift:</strong> Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 14:30</li></ul><br><ul><li><strong>Day Shift:</strong> Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30</li></ul><br><ul><li><strong>Afternoon Shift:</strong> Monday to Friday, 13:30 – 22:00</li></ul><br> <strong>Key Responsibilities</strong> <br><br><ul><li>Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a professional relationship with the client</li></ul><br><ul><li>Issue stock products accurately and efficiently</li></ul><br><ul><li>Source and provide supplier catalogues and product information</li></ul><br><ul><li>Expedite outstanding purchase orders when required</li></ul><br><ul><li>Accurately book in goods received using the stock control system</li></ul><br><ul><li>Manage and release back orders for delivery</li></ul><br><ul><li>Confirm customer deliveries in a timely manner</li></ul><br><ul><li>Ensure all documentation is completed correctly and authorised where required</li></ul><br><ul><li>Complete stock deliveries within one working day</li></ul><br><ul><li>Carry out regular stock checks and maintain accurate stock records</li></ul><br><ul><li>Record stock locations and adjustments as necessary</li></ul><br><ul><li>Maintain high housekeeping standards within the stores environment</li></ul><br><ul><li>Attend site meetings and follow up on any actions required</li></ul><br><ul><li>Support additional duties as required in line with the role</li></ul><br><br> <br> <strong>Candidate Requirements (Mandatory)</strong> <br><br><ul><li><strong>Excellent communication skills in English (both spoken and written)</strong></li></ul><br><ul><li>Previous experience working in a <strong>manufacturing production-based stores role</strong> or <strong>working closely with engineers</strong></li></ul><br><ul><li>Strong focus on delivering excellent customer experience</li></ul><br><ul><li>Ability to work effectively within a team</li></ul><br><ul><li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment</li></ul><br><ul><li>Strong problem-solving skills</li></ul><br><ul><li>High attention to detail and accuracy</li></ul><br><ul><li>Good IT skills (SAP experience desirable but not essential)</li></ul><br><ul><li>Strong organisational skills</li></ul>
