Arcosa, Inc. is seeking a Summer Intern for the Mergers & Acquisitions team. As an M&A Summer Intern, you will report directly to and assist the M&A team through hands on experience working across multiple projects over a 12 week period. This is a hybrid role with three days per week based at the Construction Products Office in Arlington, TX and two days per week at our corporate offices in Ross Tower, Dallas, TX.

Position Responsibilities:
Conduct market research to identify emerging M&A trends and develop a pipeline of prospective acquisition targets
Assist in providing research, analysis, and preliminary valuations for current and prospective transactions
Support the development and maintenance of financial models for potential investment activities
Leverage analytical skills to review target businesses and prepare thorough analyses for senior leadership review
Comb through MSHA database to identify operators that could be of interest for Arcosa
Participate in deal screening and pipeline management processes, including preparation of executive-level summary materials
Collaborate with the Construction Products team during Arlington office days to develop working knowledge of Arcosa's core business segments
Exposure to the digital and physical systems that manage production and resource planning
Summarize key learning areas and improvement opportunities observed during shadowing
Additional duties as assigned by management
Requirements & Qualifications:
Seeking bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or another Business-related field
Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in MS Office products, particularly with MS Excel
Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively
Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment
Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
