Slitter Operator

Overview:
Operate slitting machines to cut large rolls of material into smaller rolls that meet customer and quality requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate slitting machines.
• Load and unload material rolls.
• Adjust machine settings for size and quality.
• Check finished products for defects and correct measurements.
• Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments.
• Complete production paperwork.
• Keep the work area clean and follow all safety procedures.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and report equipment issues.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Manufacturing or machine operating experience is a plus.
• Basic math and measuring skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.
• Ability to work safely and as part of a team.
