<p><strong>Quality Assurance &amp; Standards Officer needed in North London Paying  £27.81 per hr ref 000B 12D8 / 1</strong></p> <p><strong>Full time hours on a temporary basis</strong></p> </p> <p><em><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></em></p> <ul> <li>Undertake reconciliation of affordable rent agreements and confirm GLA approvals for all affordable rent units</li> <li>Review service charges for affordable rented properties, ensuring they are appropriately removed or incorporated into rent levels</li> <li>Investigate and resolve cases where London Affordable Rent (LAR) properties are being charged above approved rates</li> <li>Analyse rent data across approximately 1,365 properties to identify any overcharges and implement appropriate repayment processes</li> <li>Validate rent levels and coordinate refunds where necessary</li> <li>Review existing property valuations and implement a consistent approach across the housing portfolio</li> <li>Lead valuation rationalisation exercises (circa 7,500 properties) ahead of rent convergence modelling</li> <li>Produce detailed reports and provide recommendations to improve processes and compliance</li> <li>Ensure all work aligns with relevant legislation, GLA guidance, and organisational standards</li> </ul> <p> If you are interested in the role, please email your CV to verity@essentialemploy.co.uk quoting the reference number. </p> <p>Essential Employment is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
