Graduate Project Manager / Assistant Project ManagerLocation: Birmingham (Office & Site Based)Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annumAbout the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and driven Graduate Project Manager / Assistant Project Manager to join a growing team based in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to launch or develop their project management career, working across both office and site environments on a variety of projects.The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of projects from inception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the planning, coordination, and delivery of projects from start to finishMonitor project progress, budgets, and timelines, reporting to senior managementLiaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project deliveryAttend and contribute to project meetings, both in the office and on-siteManage project documentation, including programmes, reports, and risk registersSupport the identification and resolution of project issues and risksTravel to sites across the region as requiredWhat They Are Looking ForA degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Real Estate, Civil Engineering, or a related disciplineWorking towards or holding a professional qualification such as MRICSSome previous experience in a project management or assistant project management role is advantageousA full, valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle (essential)Strong organisational and time management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProficient in Microsoft Office and project management toolsA proactive, problem-solving mindsetWhat Is on OfferCompetitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experienceVaried and rewarding project workClear career progression opportunitiesSupport towards professional qualifications (MRICS/APM)Supportive and collaborative team environmentMileage reimbursement for site travel
