The BIRKENSTOCK Group is headquartered in Linz am Rhein and maintains several locations in Germany, as well as sales offices in Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia. <br><p> </p><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18.0pt;">YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES</span></p><ul type="disc"><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">During your working student position, you will gain comprehensive insights into our Finance department, with a particular focus on Controlling in a B2B environment.</span></li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Support the preparation and analysis of key business metrics, helping to drive and steer our business performance.</span></li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Together with the team, you will further develop reports, implement process improvements, and contribute to day-to-day operational activities.</span></li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Take ownership of coordinating and preparing the weekly Monday Reporting for our EMEA Management Team.</span></li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">You will support the preparation of budgets and forecasts across all regions while collaborating closely with our international teams.</span></li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">In addition, you will assist the team during the monthly closing process.</span></li></ul><p> </p><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18.0pt;">YOUR PROFILE</span></p><ul type="disc"><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">You are currently enrolled at a university, ideally pursuing a degree in Business Administration or a comparable field with a focus on Finance, Controlling, or Accounting.</span></li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">A strong affinity for numbers and an analytical, structured way of working enable you to approach tasks with confidence.</span></li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">You are a quick learner with a proactive mindset who enjoys taking initiative and collaborating with others.</span></li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Confident use of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is essential.
