About the Role
<p>A premier healthcare organization in New York City is seeking a dedicated, mission-driven Physician to join its dynamic and compassionate team. This is a unique opportunity for a board-certified provider to make a meaningful impact across pediatric, adolescent, and adult populations, while mentoring and supervising advanced practice providers in a supportive, patient-centered environment.</p>
<p>Title: Family Medicine Physician/ Internal Medicine Physician<br />
Location: Queens NY<br />
Salary: $200,000 to $220,000</p>
<p>Key Responsibilities</p>
<p>Clinical Care<br />
• Deliver comprehensive medical care to patients across the lifespan, including well visits, acute care, and chronic disease management.<br />
• Conduct complete physical and gynecological exams, take patient histories, and develop accurate diagnoses and care plans.<br />
• Prescribe medications, provide counseling on usage, and ensure continuity of care through timely follow-ups and referrals.<br />
• Promote preventive health and provide education on topics such as nutrition, prenatal care, chronic disease management, parenting, and family planning.<br />
• Collaborate with specialists and allied health professionals to deliver coordinated, quality care.<br />
• Respond to patient inquiries and provide telephone triage as needed.<br />
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule and case conferences.</p>
<p>Leadership & Supervision<br />
• Supervise and mentor Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners, offering guidance, clinical support, and oversight in accordance with collaborative agreements.<br />
• Provide technical assistance and training for mid-level providers.</p>
<p>Quality Improvement & Administration<br />
• Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical protocols and guidelines.<br />
• Participate in peer review and quality improvement initiatives.<br />
• Collaborate with administrative and clinical support teams to optimize patient flow and documentation processes.<br />
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.</p>
<p>Work Environment<br />
• Primary care setting includes a central clinic and outreach locations, including associated community shelters.<br />
• Exam rooms and administrative workspace provided.<br />
• Strict no-smoking policy observed on all premises.</p>
<p>Qualifications<br />
• Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.<br />
• Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.<br />
• Active New York State medical license (or eligibility).<br />
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience preferred.<br />
• Experience working with underserved populations highly valued.<br />
• Bilingual abilities (Spanish or other languages) a plus.<br />
• Commitment to health equity, patient advocacy, and team-based care.</p>
