<p><strong>Controls Engineering Manager</strong> needed within the Dallas, TX area. This Engineering Manager should have experience within the Food and Beverage, Oil & Gas, or aerospace industries. This company is a control systems integration firm with offices in SoCal and Orlando.</p>

<p><strong></strong><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Manage and grow sales in your territory through direct customer interaction</li>
<li>Identify and land new accounts while maintaining key relationships</li>
<li>Develop pricing and proposals for electrical, control, and automation projects</li>
<ul>
<li>Select the appropriate bill of material for hardware</li>
<li>Estimate engineering hours</li>
<li>Create scope of work documents</li>
</ul>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Engineer, design, manage, and implement controls projects</li>
<ul>
<li>Track project costs to meet budget</li>
<li>Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan</li>
<li>Assign tasks and communicate expectations to engineers, suppliers, distributors, and customers</li>
</ul>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Provide value to customers by understanding their industry specific challenges and providing automation expertise</li>
<li>Troubleshoot issues with existing automation systems (VFDs, Motion, PLCs, Sensors, Motors, etc.)</li>
<li>Supervise and lead a territory and eventually an engineering team</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Required Skills and Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>5 or more years of experience as a control system integrator</li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering</li>
<li>3 years of project management experience</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to read and redline electrical schematics</li>
<li>Hands on experience with low voltage (480V and below) electrical applications</li>
<li>Functional machine safety experience (preference will be given to TUV certification)</li>
<li>Extensive experience with the following Automation Disciplines</li>
<ul>
<li>PLC Programming / HMI Development / Variable Frequency Drives / Motion Control / Industrial Networks / SCADA systems</li>
</ul>
<li>Ability to develop and grow strong customer relationships</li>
</ul>
