We are looking for an experienced Head of Engineering to lead a high-performing engineering organization delivering enterprise software used by millions of users worldwide. In this role, you will drive engineering strategy, execution, and organizational growth while working closely with executive leadership. You will lead multiple engineering teams through large-scale platform modernization, cloud transformation, and AI adoption, ensuring the successful delivery of business-critical products in a complex enterprise environment.

Requirements:

Must have:

• Proven experience leading engineering organizations responsible for large-scale enterprise software delivery.
• Strong leadership background managing multiple engineering teams and driving organizational growth.
• Ability to own software delivery end-to-end, from roadmap planning to successful production releases.
• Hands-on experience with .NET and C#, with the ability to understand and discuss complex technical solutions.
• Strong architectural mindset with the ability to review technical decisions, guide engineering teams, and shape technical strategy.
• Experience leading cloud transformation, modernization, or large-scale platform evolution initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience collaborating with executive leadership, product teams, and enterprise clients.
• Experience working in Agile software development environments.
• Excellent communication skills and fluent English.

Nice to have:

• Experience working with financial services, banking, or other highly regulated industries.
• Familiarity with AI-driven software engineering practices and modern development workflows.
• Experience with on-premises and cloud-based enterprise platforms.
• Background in scaling engineering organizations during periods of rapid business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop multiple engineering teams, ensuring high-quality software delivery and operational excellence.
• Take full ownership of engineering execution, from strategic planning through production delivery.
• Drive platform modernization initiatives, including cloud migration, architecture evolution, and technology standardization.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Commercial teams, and executive leadership to translate business goals into technical execution.
• Support engineering managers and technical leads through mentoring, coaching, and organizational development.
• Oversee engineering processes, delivery planning, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Promote engineering best practices, software quality, automation, and AI-assisted development across the entire software development lifecycle.
• Participate in customer discussions, technical escalations, and strategic planning for enterprise projects.
• Foster a collaborative engineering culture focused on ownership, innovation, continuous learning, and business impact.
