About the Role
What you’ll do:
Position: Material Handler. Reports to the aircraft technician manager.
Receives materials and supplies by verifying PO information on ERP - PO number, QTY, etc.
Documents materials receipts and put away to the appropriate storage location.
Upload SDS and Certifications from specific items into appropriate locations.
Locate material(s) by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
Deliver production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product final distribution.
Locate and pack materials for shipping.
Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in
stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages.
Operates forklifts (certified a plus), pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items
Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making operator repairs.
Maintain warehouse operation area clean and orderly.
Order items requested by manufacturing team.
Learn and adhere to workplace safety regulations.
Working hours - 1st shift 6am-2:30pm.
What you need:
3-5 years of related warehouse experience (shipping and receiving, kitting, packing)
Computer Savvy
ERP experience, SAP a plus
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and highly regulated with adaptability to changing priorities.
Strong team player.
Efficient with Google Suite.
Must be able to lift 25 lbs unassisted.
Must be able to visually distinguish colors
