Aircraft Paint Prepper | £18 – £22 p/h | Stansted | Permanent Role Want to be part of a tight knit MRO, that treats you like part of the family, compensates you handsomely and supports your growth & development with genuine progression paths? My client in Stansted is looking for a detail-oriented Aircraft Prepper to join their team. You'll be responsible for preparing aircraft surfaces, interiors, and components for painting and detailing. This includes cleaning, masking, sanding, and inspection—ensuring all work meets strict safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment. Day to Day Life:Clean, degrease, mask, and sand aircraft surfaces.Conduct pre- and post-prep inspections; report any issues.Maintain tools, PPE, and equipment; manage cleaning material inventory.Follow safety protocols and attend training.Work collaboratively with painters and technicians. Requirements Essential:Previous experience in Prep/Paint roles.Strong health & safety awareness.Physically fitTeam player with the ability to work independently. Desirable:Experience in aviation environments.Knowledge of aircraft prep materials and techniques.Familiarity with EASA/CAA standards.
