About the Role
<strong>HGV Class 2 Driver – Hams Hall</strong><br><strong>£17.76 to £24.25 per hour based on Overtime and shift pattern.</strong><br><br> <br><br>Pertemps are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers on behalf of a leading logistics company working with a major retailer based in the Hams Hall<br><br><br>This is an ongoing role delivering to high street and retail park stores on a regular shift pattern. The work would include multi drop deliveries and handball will be expected of cages and loose loads.<br> <br><br>This will be a role delivering to stores across the country and it could be 10-15 drops per day<br><br><br><strong>The Role:</strong><br><br><ul><li>Local or Distance deliveries to high street shops or retail parks<br><br></li><ul><li>10-15 drops or collections on a daily basis<br><br></li><li>Start times on days between 00:00 & 04:00hr sarts.<br><br></li><li>Handball and flexibility to do a variety of runs is mandatory<br><br></li><li>Regular shift pattern of Monday to Saturday any 5 days out of 6. <br><br></li><li>Ensuring timely and professional deliveries to customers<br><br></li><li>Completing all relevant paperwork and vehicle checks<br><br></li></ul></ul> <br><br><strong>Pay Rates:</strong><br><br><ul><li>£17.76 per hour on Days<br><br></li><ul><li>Overtime premiums of £24.25 per hour for all hours completed after 48hrs per week.<br><br></li></ul></ul> <br><br><strong>Requirements:</strong><br><br><ul><li>Valid HGV Class 2 licence<br><br></li><ul><li>Valid CPC and Digi Card<br><br></li><li>Minimum 9 months Class 2 driving experience required<br><br></li><li>Previous multi drop or store delivery work is preferred <br><br></li><li>Comfortable with paperwork<br><br></li><li>Ok to complete full assessment including theory, practical & Drug and alcohol test upon arrival<br><br></li><li>Good customer service skills and reliability<br><br></li></ul></ul> <br><br><strong>What We Offer:</strong><br><br><ul><li>Ongoing work available<br><br></li><ul><li>Competitive pay rates<br><br></li><li>Immediate starts<br><br></li><li>Supportive transport team<br><br></li><li>Opportunity for long-term work<br><br></li></ul></ul> <br><br>If you are an experienced HGV Class 1 driver looking for ongoing work with excellent rates of pay, apply today with Pertemps.
