About the Role
Product Manager PaaS
As a Product Manager at CloudFerro, you will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of cloud products and services, working closely with technical, business, and sales teams. You will drive product development in line with Agile methodologies, ensuring the product roadmap aligns with the company’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
create, develop, and manage the product roadmap based on user needs, business priorities, and technological capabilities,
collaborate with development teams in Agile frameworks, formulating the backlog and defining requirements in the form of epics and user stories,
synthesize customer and market needs into concrete product actions,
prepare and update product documentation and implementation plans,
co-create product strategy and business models, including margin and market potential analysis,
conduct competitive analyses and identify market opportunities,
participate in bid processes, including public sector tenders,
identify, acquire, and manage technological components from external partners,
provide subject matter expertise during internal and external product training sessions.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
minimum 6 years of product management experience (applications, platforms, or cloud services) in B2B and/or B2C environments,
experience working with product roadmaps and backlogs, collaborating with development teams in Agile/Scrum environments,
solid understanding of the product lifecycle – from concept through MVP to development and maintenance,
experience in preparing bids for the public sector (tenders),
strong stakeholder management skills, fluent English communication (min. B2/C1), and decision-making accountability,
goal-oriented and comfortable working with cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have:
knowledge of cloud services (OpenStack, Ceph, Kubernetes) and hyperscaler solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP),
understanding of serverless approaches and experience with FaaS services (e.g., AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions) as well as technologies like Knative, OpenFaaS, JupyterHub/Jupyter Notebooks in cloud environments,
knowledge of telecom systems and protocols,
familiarity with Linux systems and CI/CD environments.
