Job Title: Nurse Practitioner (Float) {166507}
Location: Bloomington Indiana 47401
Pay Rate: $74.87/hour
Schedule: Full-time (Average 30â32.5 hours/week); Every other weekend; Possible holiday rotations
Position Summary
The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with a dedicated clinical care team to provide evidence-based primary and family care to a panel of patients. The care team partners daily with providers to drive improved health outcomes across the patient population. Responsibilities include accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of acute and chronic health conditions, health counseling, and disposition planning. This role reports directly to the Practice Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care
Deliver comprehensive primary and family care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and health management
Perform routine physical examinations and diagnostic testing
Provide chronic condition management and preventive health screenings
Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices and wellness strategies
Coordinate care plans with other healthcare professionals
Encourage patient engagement in personal healthcare and overall well-being
Administrative & Operational Duties
Open and close clinic as required
Maintain clinic cleanliness and organization
Manage inventory and supplies
Verify insurance coverage and collect payments
Conduct patient follow-ups
Manage patient appointments and scheduling
Required Qualifications
Masterâs Degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program
Current National Board Certification
Active State license to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse
Minimum of 1 year recent primary care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in family medicine or primary care practice preferred
If not, successful completion of internal primary care training program required
Current BLS certification (copy required upon offer acceptance)
DEA registration required at time of offer acceptance (unless otherwise noted)
Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure
