In this role as a Flex Pharmacist, you will only be scheduled to work on an as needed basis based on business needs.
What You'll Do
Provide counseling on prescriptions, relay pertinent information for customers to be confidence with at-home use of medication
Accurately perform all necessary steps of workflow and efficiently to ensure customers receive error-free products
Continuously strive for efficiency and seek improvement opportunities
Identify barriers to achieve goals, and escalate issues when appropriate
Comply with all federal, state, and HIPAA regulations; ensure company guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures are followed
Verify potential licensing in any state Wegmans does business
Keep current on company wellness initiatives and ensure consistency and execution
Requirements
Pharmacist State License (may require licensing in multiple states)
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree
Certified Pharmacist Immunizer
AED, CPR certified
Computer skills
Preferred Qualifications
Certified in a disease state
