<div> <p><strong>Manufacturing Engineer</strong> #<strong>3573043</strong></p> <p><strong>Job Title:</strong> <strong>Manufacturing Engineer</strong></p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> La Vista, NE</p> <p><strong>Salary Compensation:</strong> $75,000 &#8211; 110,000 per year (Salary commensurate with experience.)</p> <p><strong>Work Location:</strong> On-Site Only (Not remote or hybrid)</p> <p><strong>Job Type:</strong> Direct Hire</p> <p><strong>Industry:</strong> Manufacturing</p> <p><strong>Company Size:</strong> 100-500 million in annual revenue</p> <p><strong>Keys to Job: </strong>Bachelor’s in manufacturing/industrial engineering or 3-5 years related experience; APQP/PFMEA knowledge; lean manufacturing tools proficiency; strong communication and project-management skills; ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.</p> <p><strong>Job Description </strong></p> <p>This engineering position develops, maintains, and optimizes manufacturing methods and processes across facilities while supporting new equipment acquisition, safety evaluations, and efficiency initiatives using APQP methodology.</p> <p><strong>Core Responsibilities</strong></p> <p>· Creating and maintaining APQP documentation including PFMEA, control plans, work instructions, and standard work.</p> <p>· Performing process qualifications to verify stability and conformance of manufactured products.</p> <p>· Designing safe manufacturing processes that meet OSHA standards and using customer demand data to align production capacity.</p> <p>· Leading process improvements based on production feedback and lean tools while determining capital project costs and justifications.</p> <p>· Managing new equipment purchasing, installation, and training to ensure safe and capable operations.</p> <p>· Communicating ideas effectively to achieve buy-in from management and manufacturing teams while managing multiple concurrent projects.</p> <p><strong>Position Requirements</strong></p> <p>Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, production engineering, or related field (or 3-5 years equivalent experience). Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and strong problem-solving/data-analysis skills. Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high productivity.</p> <p><strong>Physical Demands and Work Environment</strong></p> <p>Primarily office-based with occasional shop floor presence requiring PPE (safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, hearing protection where needed).
