<p><strong>Design Engineer | Housebuilder | North West | £55k+P</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional with expertise in pre-development design for highways, drainage, and groundworks across residential housing developments throughout the North West.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>·        Prepare pre-development stage designs for roads and sewers, groundworks, and cut/fill strategies.</p> <p>·        Prepare and submit Roads and Sewers designs to statutory undertakers for pre-development Section 38/278 and Section 104 enquiries.</p> <p>·        Liaise with external consultants to procure Site Investigation Reports, Foundation Designs, and Remediation Strategies.</p> <p>·        Provide the Commercial and Estimating teams with pre-development highways, drainage, foundation, and cut &amp; fill designs to support land bids.</p> <p>·        Work collaboratively with the Architectural and Land teams to obtain consultant fee proposals for planning applications, ensuring all associated reports are produced and delivered on schedule.</p> <p>·        Review agreed specifications, ensuring all works are constructed in accordance with design drawings and delivered within budget.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>What You Will Need to Succeed</p> <p>·        Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a multi-disciplinary environment.</p> <p>·        Strong understanding of Section 38/278 (Highways Act) and Section 104 (Water Industry Act) agreements.</p> <p>·        Proficiency in AutoCAD, particularly Civil 3D, MicroDrainage (or equivalent), and Site3D.</p> <p>·        Solid understanding of foul and surface water drainage design, SuDS, highways design, cut and fill analysis, FRAs, and minor roadway design.</p> <p>·        Familiarity with relevant Building Regulations, British Standards, and local authority requirements.</p> <p>·        Experience delivering projects from concept to completion, including calculations, drawings, and technical specifications.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>In Return, We Offer:</p> <p>·        Up to £55,000</p> <p>·        Discretional bonus</p> <p>·        Car allowance</p> <p>·        Modern, Warrington-based head office</p> <p>·        Pension contribution</p> <p>·        Private health insurance and life assurance</p>
