About the Role
<p><b>The Role</b></p><p></p><p>The Business Development Consultant (BDC), is responsible for proactively supporting business development efforts and driving the overall client experience with key accounts across the Morningstar Wealth product suite, with a particular focus on Morningstar Wealth Platform and Morningstar Investment Management (MPS and Multi Asset Fund). The successful candidate will possess a willingness to proactively drive business development efforts across assigned accounts, in partnership with the Business Development Manager (BDM) for the region. The BDC will play a pivotal role in growing the Morningstar Wealth presence in the UK, delivering best in class relationship management, sales/cross-sales and service delivery.</p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Support new business development and cross-selling efforts regionally Responsible for proactively driving the overall satisfaction within a group of assigned client accounts</li><li>Act as a first point of contact for all prospect and client queries, qualifying opportunities and working with the BDM to closure</li><li>Provide ongoing support to client firms for BAU queries and training requirements.</li><li>Support the BDM in analysing data trends to identify opportunities for Morningstar Wealth to grow Share of Wallet within assigned panel of clients.</li><li>Organise, schedule, and participate in client calls and meetings and follow through to ensure all discussed action points are addressed and deadlines adhered to.</li><li>Work with internal stakeholders to deliver services that empower our clients to give great advice to their customers.</li><li>Work collaboratively with sales, marketing, implementation, adviser support, operations, and product/technology teams to support business development.</li><li>Provide ongoing support to the team on producing MI, presentation decks and disseminating client feedback.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><ul><li><span>Degree or equivalent</span></li><li><span>Candidates should have 2+ years of financial services experience</span></li><li><span>Ability to effectively manage competing priorities to maximise sales and retention.</span></li><li><span>Confident telephone manner</span></li><li><span>Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to deliver professional and persuasive presentations and create client rapport.</span></li><li><span>Strong business instincts, good judgment, and creative mindset.</span></li><li><span>Excellent team player who can communicate effectively</span></li><li><span>Impeccable character with high ethical and quality standards</span></li><li><span>High attention to detail, inquisitive and eager to learn.</span></li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2><b>Base Salary Compensation Range</b></h2>GBP 52.000,00-73.333,33<p><b>Commission Target:</b></p>35% Annual<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><span style="color:#172b4d">This role offers a commission target which may vary by up to ±15% depending on final plan design and business factors.</span></p><p>We expect the compensation and target bonus for this role to fall within the stated range.
