<p><strong>Planning Policy Officer needed in Northampton Paying £33.95 per hr ref 1737385</strong></p>
<p><strong>Full time hours on a temporary basis</strong></p>

<p><em><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></em></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Process Strategic Land Availability Assessment Review (SLAAR) submissions and maintain associated records.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Complete site selection proformas and undertake detailed site assessments.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Review sites against infrastructure capacity, environmental constraints, and planning considerations.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Analyse responses from infrastructure providers and stakeholders to inform planning policy work.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Draft and contribute to the Infrastructure Delivery Plan, ensuring infrastructure requirements are clearly identified and evidenced.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Support policy development relating to neighbourhood and local centres, including local shopping areas and community hubs.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Assist in maintaining and updating the Local Plan evidence base, ensuring consistency and alignment across all supporting documents.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Prepare written reports, briefing notes, and consultation documentation.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Work collaboratively with internal teams, consultants, and external stakeholders to support policy development and project delivery.</strong></li>
