REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in English, Library Science, History, or a related field; OR an Associate degree (60 college credit hours) with additional qualifying experience

• Two (2) years of customer service or library services experience

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to provide exceptional service in a public-facing environment

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

Pay: $20/hour

Schedule:

• Rotating schedule within branch operating hours
• MUST be flexible to work MON to SUN, 9AM to 8PM
• W2 | Full-Time

ROLE IMPACT

• Serves as a vital connection between the library and the community by providing reference assistance, technology support, and access to educational resources
• Ensures patrons of all ages receive exceptional service while promoting literacy, digital inclusion, and community engagement

Core Tools & Systems

• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Library catalog and integrated library systems (ILS)

• Research databases and digital content platforms

• Internet research tools and online resources

• Public-access computer systems and technology support tools
