About the Role
Are you an IT Manager / Team Leader looking for a fully autonomous role setting up and leading the IT division for a leading engineering company based in the North West?
This is an excellent opportunity to utilise your experience as you implement & develop in-house infrastructure, manage and grow a team, acting as the main point of contact to senior management.
An ideal applicant would be a seasoned IT professional with a background of running IT operations and leading a team. Any industry experience can be considered, and excellent career prospects are available.
Responsibilities:
Evaluation and procurement of software / hardware for general use.
Design, develop, and implement the appropriate IT systems and processes.
Formulate and review IT policies and procedures.
Effective management of departmental budget
Manage User Support
Manage 3rd party contract support
Act as group advisor on all IT related matters, reporting directly to senior management
Person:
Comprehensive understanding of network architecture and client/server technology
A confident leader with the ability to manage, coach, train, and develop others
Project Management knowledge and experience
