Are you an experienced E&I Engineer with a passion for work preparation and project support? For a dynamic and growing organization, we are looking for a Project Engineer E&I who wants to contribute to the preparation and execution of a variety of technical projects. You will work in a small, specialized team and be involved from the initial request assessment through to project completion and aftercare.
Key Responsibilities
As a Project Engineer E&I, you ensure thorough preparation and smooth execution of projects. You act as the link between client requirements, engineering, and execution. Your responsibilities include:
- Work preparation: analyzing project requests, preparing cost calculations, and identifying potential risks.
- Procurement: creating an overview of required materials and services, enabling the procurement department to proceed with orders.
- Planning and instructions: developing project schedules, work packages, and clear instructions for the execution team.
- Execution support: providing office-based guidance to technicians during project execution, including support with scope changes and technical questions.
- Administration and reporting: documenting progress and results and reporting back to the Project Manager.
Candidate Profile
- A completed MBO+ or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation.
- Relevant experience as a Project Engineer or Work Preparator in a similar environment.
- Preferably, affinity with the offshore or process industry.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems (Ridder IQ is a plus).
- Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
- Knowledge of ATEX, NEN 3140, and relevant NEN-EN-IEC standards and regulations.
