Product Performance Engineer

Murray McIntosh is seeking a Product Performance & Calibration Engineer to start work for a key client on a 12 month contract as detailed below: Responsibilities and experience: Broad understanding of engine systems and associated components Ability to use software to capture, interpret and analyse machine data Bosch or Delphi software or data strategy experience would be preferred Broad understanding of performance, emissions, calibration and controls Understanding of dyno test cell management and test procedures Experience of managing test procedures to meet deadlines Creation of Engineering Instructions (EI) Strong ECU understanding Knowledge of homologation & certification beneficial Knowledge of base engine, after treatment systems & emissions This role would suit an engineer who has experience of working as a technician or test engineer with broad knowledge of engine systems and associated components. Knowledge of ECUs, performance, calibration, emissions & software strategies would be ideal.
