This position will particularly appeal to those with a UK military background, where precision, accountability, and leadership were part of daily life. If you’ve worked in supply chain, logistics, stores, or equipment management during your service, your skills are highly transferable here.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for the smooth running of all Part 145 store’s activity linked to aircraft maintenance operations, ensuring the right parts, tools, and materials are always available, properly controlled, and accurately recorded. You’ll also manage a small team and liaise directly with engineering staff and customers.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee stock management across bonded, goods-in/out, bulk, and tool stores
• Lead and support the stores team, ensuring processes are followed with accuracy
• Maintain high standards in tool control, feedback, and accountability
• Coordinate with customers to manage their stock effectively
• Support the maintenance team by ensuring parts and tooling are available when required

• IT literate and confident in using digital systems for stock control
• Previous aviation, logistics, or engineering stores experience is beneficial, but strong supply chain or equipment management backgrounds from military service are equally valued
