About the Role

Credit Controller Location: Remote Salary: £28,000 – £29,000 A fast-growing platform operating within the legal and home-moving sectors is looking for a Credit Controller to join its expanding finance team. You’ll work closely with senior leadership, gain exposure across the business, and play a key role in supporting financial operations. The Role As a Credit Controller, you’ll take ownership of day-to-day finance operations, ensuring smooth cash flow, accurate reporting, and strong client account management. This is a hands-on role where no two days look the same - perfect for someone who enjoys working across multiple areas of finance in a fast-paced environment. What You’ll Be Doing Credit Control & Accounts Management Manage credit control across a varied customer base Handle debt recovery processes, including legal escalation where required Build strong relationships with clients to ensure timely payments Billing & Financial Operations Generate invoices and credit notes accurately and efficiently Monitor incoming payments and allocate funds within internal systems Manage and oversee the direct debit process Reconciliations & Reporting Carry out daily reconciliations across payment providers (card/direct debit) Support weekly and monthly reporting, working closely with the CFO Assist with month-end processes and financial data exports Systems & Collaboration Update internal CRM and finance systems with payment data Work closely with divisional heads and wider teams to ensure smooth financial operations Support ongoing improvements to processes and reporting What We’re Looking For Experience & Skills Previous experience within a finance or credit control role Strong understanding of credit control processes and cash flow management Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail Confident communicator with a professional phone manner Comfortable working with CRM and financial systems Personal Attributes Proactive and driven with a strong desire to succeed Able to handle challenges and overcome objections confidently Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment Positive, energetic attitude with a willingness to learn Why Join?
