They are designed to give you a range of skills and experience to complement your current university studies. We'll welcome you into our wonderful world of water. Cyber Security Our Cyber Security Summer Placement offers a unique opportunity to explore how a regulated FTSE 100 business protects its systems, data, and infrastructure from evolving digital threats. Location(s) | Coventry and Derby Data Science & Innovation Our Innovation & Data Science Summer Placement Programme offers a unique opportunity to explore how scientific thinking, data-driven insights, and innovative approaches shape the future of water and wastewater services at Severn Trent. Location(s) | Coventry Engineering Design Our Engineering Design Summer Placements Programme offers the perfect blend of personal and professional development, exposing you to the frontline and the core of our business. The programme will enable you to spend time in both our engineering design and capital programme delivery teams, covering the end-to-end process of the project and programme life cycles across the water/waste network and the water/waste treatment facilities. Location(s) | Coventry and Derby Finance Our Finance Summer Placements Programme offers the perfect blend of personal and professional development, exposing you to the core of our business and will give you an insight into four different disciplines of Finance, through three business placements. Open to students in related fields, it provides opportunities for professional growth, practical experience in HR practices, and impactful work within a supportive and dynamic environment. Location(s) | Coventry Operational Project Management Our Operational Project Management Summer Placement offers a hands-on opportunity to explore how operational excellence and strategic thinking come together to support Severn Trent’s water network infrastructure. This role requires travel around our reagion for up to 50% of your time. Location(s) | Birmingham Strategic Asset Management Our Asset Strategy Summer Placement offers a unique opportunity to explore how we plan, optimise, and innovate our water and wastewater infrastructure across a regulated FTSE 100 business, ensuring we provide value to our customers and the environment.
