<p><b>Maintenance Supervisor - Heavy Equipment</b></p><p></p><p><b>Waste Connections of Arizona - Weinberger Waste</b></p><p>📍<span> </span><i>Location:</i><span> </span>Phoenix, Arizona</p><p></p><p><b>Join Our Growing Team!</b></p><p><b>Waste Connections</b>, is looking for a<span> </span><b>safety-conscious Maintenance Supervisor</b><span> </span>to join our team in Phoenix, AZ!</p><p></p><p><b>Why Join Us?</b></p><p>✅<span> </span><b>Competitive Pay & Bonuses</b><br />✅<span> </span><b>Career Growth</b><span> </span>– We invest in YOU by providing training & advancement opportunities<br />✅<span> </span><b>Excellent Benefits:</b></p><ul><li>Health, dental, and vision insurance</li><li>5%<span> </span><b>401(k) match</b><span> </span>for retirement savings</li><li>Paid time off and holidays<br />✅<span> </span><b>A Strong Company Culture</b><span> </span>– We value<span> </span><b>integrity, teamwork, and a great work environment</b></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Position Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Ensure adequate training of mechanics on shift.</li><li>Work hands-on with the maintenance staff and not be afraid to get your hands dirty</li><li>Assign, review and ensure proper completion of repair orders by all technicians, this will be done daily utilizing RTA and other tracking methods.</li><li>Trains and assists Mechanics on methods for diagnosing and repairing mechanical equipment.</li><li>Work with maintenance manager to provide daily communications to operations on down equipment and operational needs.</li><li>Promote collaboration between and among personnel.</li><li>Communicates regularly with the District Maintenance Manager and all shop personnel, daily documented tailgates.</li><li>Assists in monthly financial projections and annual budget responsibility will be assigned for certain lines of spending.</li><li>Perform quality control inspection and work observations.</li><li>Ensures adherence to the corporate safety program.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Knowledge and Skills:</b></p><ul><li>Must have excellent working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance techniques.</li><li>Experience with heavy equipment and yellowiron is a plus</li><li>Post-collections waste experience is a plus</li><li>Must have ability to motivate staff to meet corp., region, division, and district objectives.</li><li>Must have excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills.</li></ul><p></p><p><b> Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>3+ years mechanic experience with equipment maintenance and repair.
