About the Role
Medical Transport Systems The General Manager oversees our organizational processes and ensures daily tasks by the drivers and other members of the operations teams are met. Their main duties include managing daily operations, assisting with the hiring process of new employees, implementing policies and strategies to improve productivity and efficiency levels, and building an enjoyable company culture. Responsibility Profile: Manage daily and long-term planning to create initiatives that further the company’s overall goals. Coordinate different teams to foster exchange of ideas and provide cross-team learning opportunities. Assess and analyze departmental budgets to find ways to minimize expenses and optimize profits. Inspire and motivate employees to perform at their best through positive encouragement and incentive initiatives. Communicate with senior officials about shifting company priorities and projects. Identify potential problems and points of friction and work to find solutions to maximize efficiency and revenue. Identify opportunities to expand or shift course to take advantage of changes in the market. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Three (3) years of transportation management experience.
