Cath Lab Technician

Rhino Medical is actively seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technician for a 13-week contract assignment in the Dallas, Texas metro area, supporting two busy cardiovascular programs. This opportunity allows technicians to work within modern cardiac catheterization labs serving two established acute care hospitals, delivering advanced cardiac and interventional procedures alongside experienced cardiologists, nurses, and interventional teams. Providers will float between facilities in Mesquite and Farmers Branch, both serving the greater Dallas region. Assignment Overview Position: Cath Lab Technician Location: Dallas, Texas (Mesquite & Farmers Branch) Assignment Length: 13 weeks Schedule: Day Shift Hours: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM Flexible scheduling depending on department needs. Call Requirements Rotating call schedule required. Call Frequency: 12–15 call days per month Every other weekend call Call Hours: Monday – Friday 3:00 PM – 6:30 AM Weekend Call 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM (24-hour coverage) Practice Environment Cardiac catheterization laboratories supporting interventional cardiology and diagnostic cardiac services. Typical procedures include: Cardiac catheterization Coronary angiography PCI / stent placement Peripheral vascular procedures Electrophysiology support procedures Interventional radiology cases Technicians work within a multidisciplinary cardiovascular team including cardiologists, cath lab nurses, and cardiovascular technologists. Candidate Requirements Minimum 2 years Cath Lab experience Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS ARRT or RCIS Interventional Radiology experience preferred Ability to work in high-acuity procedural environments with on-call responsibilities
