A well-established and growing transport planning consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior or Principal Transport Planner to join its expanding team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced transport planner to take a leading role in delivering development-led projects, while contributing to the ongoing growth and success of the business.
You will be responsible for managing and delivering a range of transport planning projects, providing high-quality, commercially aware advice to clients across the development sector.
Responsibilities will include:
Managing projects from inception through to completion
Preparing and reviewing Transport Assessments, Statements and feasibility studies
Undertaking and interpreting transport modelling and analysis (e.g. TRICS, TEMPro, junction modelling)
Liaising with clients, local authorities and stakeholders
Supporting and mentoring junior team members
Contributing to project financial management and fee proposals
Supporting business development and client relationship growth
Around 5+ years' experience within transport planning (ideally development-led)
Strong ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Experience producing high-quality technical reports
Familiarity with tools such as:
TRICS / TEMPro
LinSig / TRANSYT (or similar)
Strong communication and client-facing skills
Commercial awareness and understanding of project delivery
Membership of a relevant professional body (or working towards)
The role is ideally based in Woking, though candidates based in London or nearby locations will also be considered depending on experience.
