1G/2G/3G MIG & TIG Welder – Fisher, IL
Job Type: Full-time, Day Shift

Key Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for welding and fabricating parts according to blueprint specifications. The welder will fit and weld steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metal parts using a MIG/TIG/FLUX and/or Stick process. Our parts are diverse and demand technical proficiency, attention to detail, and a proactive safety mindset.
- Must be able to pass a 1G/2G/3G weld test (Required)
- Joins and repairs metal and other welding materials, using appropriate welding techniques: MIG/TIG/STICK/FLUX
- Utilizes measuring equipment such as tape measures, rulers, calipers, and micrometers to ensure quality work
- Measures, marks, and scribes dimensions and reference points on materials or workpiece as guides for welding
- Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to blueprint specifications, using precision measuring instruments
- Operates and observes to detect malfunctions or non-conforming conditions and adjusts machine controls as required
- Maintain welding equipment in good working condition
- Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to achieve production goals
- Record and report production data accurately and promptly
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance welding processes
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Welding school preferred.
