About the Role
<p>Anderson Knight is delighted to be supporting a leading financial services provider in the recruitment of a Customer Support Advisor to join their growing team in Finnieston.</p>
<p>This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in financial services, customer support, or regulated environments who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused role.</p>
<p>As a key member of the Customer Support Team, you’ll be responsible for delivering a best-in-class service throughout the customer journey, ensuring all interactions meet regulatory standards and reflect the company’s values.</p>
<p><strong>Location:</strong> Finnieston, Glasgow (Hybrid)<br />
<strong>Salary:</strong> £26,000<br />
<strong>Hours: </strong>35 hours per week (rotating shifts between 8am–8pm, Mon–Fri)</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><br />
• Provide outstanding customer service across multiple communication channels.<br />
• Manage and process daily customer support tasks within agreed timelines.<br />
• Handle direct debit collections, issue welcome packs, and send regulatory statements.<br />
• Accurately update customer records and process settlement quotes in line with team KPIs.<br />
• Manage queries and complaints promptly, ensuring resolution in line with company procedures.<br />
• Comply with FCA regulations relating to early terminations, cancellations, and vehicle finance processes.<br />
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of all customer communications and actions taken.<br />
• Submit credit reference agency files and daily asset registration data to relevant parties.<br />
• Protect customer data and ensure all activity aligns with GDPR requirements.<br />
• Support reporting and data tracking efforts to identify trends and opportunities for service improvement.</p>
<p><strong>Requirements:</strong><br />
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a customer service or administrative role, ideally within financial services.<br />
• Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance standards (e.g., Consumer Credit Act).<br />
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office – particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.<br />
• Strong attention to detail and a solution-focused approach.<br />
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.<br />
• A team player with a positive, adaptable, and proactive attitude.</p>
