CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT SPECIALIST (OPERATIONS)

Job Description:
The Interim Performance Excellence Specialist Operations plays a key role in a temporary performance improvement program within Operations. The role focuses on strengthening operational discipline, performance management, and problem solving on the production floor. The main objective is to ensure that improvements are not only identified but also implemented and sustainably embedded in daily operations.

Responsibilities:
- Strengthen structured problem solving together with team leaders and operators
 - Improve adherence to operational standards such as changeover procedures, autonomous maintenance, and correct machine usage
- Shift the focus from explaining performance losses to actively steering and managing performance
- Sharpen and facilitate Tier 2 performance meetings
- Ensure sustainable implementation and embedding of improvements in daily operations
- Analyze OEE losses in collaboration with the Interim Maintenance Engineer
- Define priorities and structural improvement actions
- Improve collaboration between Operations and Maintenance
- Drive execution of improvement plans on both machine and process level
- Support change management related to improvement programs on the shopfloor

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Performance Excellence, Continuous Improvement, or a similar role within a production environment
- Strong knowledge of tier structures and performance management systems
- Proven experience with root cause analysis and loss analysis
- Strong process-oriented mindset with hands-on execution capability
- Experience working on the shopfloor and driving change with operators and team leaders
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Practical, coaching, and result-driven personality
- Able to operate independently and be immediately effective in an interim role

- Collaboration: Works closely with an Interim Maintenance Engineer focused on OEE and reliability
