DevOps Engineer- CI Poly - $200K+

Our client is a small specialized company providing multi-faceted, high impact technology solutions to our nation's Intelligence Community.  They have been in this industry for over 20 years and are well established in this space.  They are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a fast-paced, mission-focused, and passionate team.  the tech stack here is large and complex:  thousands of servers in a world-wide distributed environment, RedHat, CentOS, Juniper and CISCO networks.  Virtualization, CephFS, IBM GPFS, SANS, HP and IBS storage, Gluster, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Puppet, Chef, Bash, Csh, Perl, Python, Ruby and all sorts of Cloud technologies (not just AWS).<br /> <br /> Ideal candidates for this role will have:<br /> <br /> -Continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) experience<br /> -Experience using Podman or Dockers for Containerization and Kubernetes for Orchestration<br /> -Both domain and admin experience with Linux distributions:  Red Hat, Fedora or CentOS<br /> -Experience designing and administering virtualized environments with VMware and Red Hat packages<br /> -Understanding. of TCP/IP stack and network protocols, near CCNA knowledge level<br /> -Both server and workstation security. hardening<br /> -Familiarity with Puppet, Ansible, Cobbler for server automation<br /> <br /> This team is located in Fairfax, VA and work is 100% on-site.  This role requires US citizenship and a current TS/SCI + CI Poly level clearance.<br /> <br />
