Technical Skills & Aptitude
• Highly IT literate and able to quickly learn new systems.
• Comfortable with software driven technical tasks (not a tools/engineering role).
• Ability to manage and maintain large databases, particularly access control systems (e.g., AOS).
• Tech savvy enough to navigate bespoke systems such as PSOP.
• Strong skills with general computer usage, email, admin platforms, and digital workflows.
Experience & Background
• Public sector experience NOT required — open to any background.
• Priority is on competence and capability, not previous policing/security experience.
• Access control experience is not essential, but advantageous.
Personal Attributes
• Organised, able to manage own workload.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to interact with stakeholders.
• Trustworthy and reliable — role is considered high trust.
• Able to work flexibly across locations.
